More than 130 thousand applicants registered - competitive specialty group CHANGED
The registration process for applicants wishing to participate in the 1st attempt of the 2nd stage of the entrance exam to higher education institutions continues.
According to information obtained by Aztəhsil.az from the State Examination Center, as of 15:00, the total number of applicants registered for admission to the bachelor's level of higher education and the secondary vocational education level (based on complete secondary education) is 133,731 people.
According to the information, the number of applicants to higher education institutions (Ali TM) was 130,037 people. Of them, 120,943 people registered for the Azerbaijani section, and 12,788 people for the Russian section. A total of 120,590 people applied for secondary vocational education (college) (Azerbaijani section - 110,542, Russian section - 10,048).
Regarding the registration indicators for the 1st attempt test exam by specialty groups, the most applications were recorded for specialty group I - 10,206 people (8875 AZ, 1331 RU). 7773 people will participate in the exam for group II, 6389 people for group III, and 2112 people for group IV. In total, the number of registered people for specialty groups I-IV is 26,480.
The number of applicants who will participate in the test exam for the subject "Mother tongue (as a state language)" is 11,547 people. Of them, 10,811 people will take this subject within the framework of the graduation exam, and 736 people within the framework of the 1st attempt of the entrance exam. In addition, the number of people admitted to the competition without an exam this year because they achieved a "passing" result in this subject last year is 1196.
It is also noted that the number of applicants joining the competition based on the results of the 1st stage of the 2025 graduation or test exams is 3008 people.
It should be noted that applicants wishing to participate in the 1st attempt of the 2nd stage of the entrance exam for specialty groups I, II, III, and IV must select the specialty group they wish to take the exam for and register by entering the relevant DİM internet page (//eservices.dim.gov.az/erizebak/cehd1/) using their personal cabinet username and password until April 29 at 23:59.
