Famous footballer Vozinha - HIS STORY, "who was told by his teacher that he would never be successful in football"

Vozinha was only ten years old. Everyone was playing football during recess in the old schoolyard. And every time the ball touched his foot, he seemed to forget the whole world.

That night, he couldn't sleep. The teacher's words echoed in his ears again and again. But he got up before sunrise. He took his old ball and went to the empty field. He practiced every day. Even when it rained, and when the wind blew...

Years passed, and Vozinha was met with great admiration both in his country and around the world for his saves with the Cape Verde national team in the 2026 World Cup against Spain and then Argentina. 

The experienced goalkeeper fought until the last minute against Argentina. The match was very dramatic, and Argentina won 3:2 in extra time. Nevertheless, both fans and football experts considered Vozinha one of the heroes of the game.

After the game, Lionel Messi met with Vozinha and expressed his respect for the fight shown by him and his team.
