A series of events were held by the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) for the purpose of educating the population on rules of conduct in connection with emergency situations.

It was reported that awareness-raising events were held with the participation of specialists from the Ministry's State Fire Control, State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Water Rescue, by the Baku Regional Center (RC) in Baku city, Surakhany district Secondary School No. 278, Narimanov district Secondary Schools No. 45 and 207, Binagadi district Secondary School No. 30, in the Republican Lyceum with a specialization in Physics, Mathematics, and Informatics located in Yasamal district, and in Service and Operations Center No. 1 of the Baku City Education Department located in Binagadi district; by the Sumgayit RC in Absheron district, Masazir village Secondary General Education School No. 4, in Sumgayit city Kindergarten-Nursery No. 62, in the representation of the Head of Absheron District Executive Power for Novkhany village administrative territorial district, and in Absheron district, Gobu settlement Secondary General Education School No. 1; by the Ganja RC in Ganja Sports Palace, in “Khamsa Park” shopping center, and in “Premium Hotel Ganja”; by the North-West RC in Gabala district, Mykhlygovang and Kotuklu village Secondary Schools named after F. Hamidov, in Sheki city Secondary Schools No. 21 and 10 named after A. Abdullayev; by the Mugan RC in Bilasuvar district Secondary General Education School No. 4 and Salyan district, Arbatan village Secondary General Education School; by the Aran RC in Goychay district, Ashagi Garamaryam village Secondary School, for the unemployed population in the administrative building of the representation of the Head of Yevlakh District Executive Power for Havarli village administrative territorial district, and in Mingachevir city Secondary School No. 20; by the South RC in Lankaran district, Boladi village Secondary School No. 1 named after N. Akhundov; and by the North RC in Shabran district, Amirkhani village Secondary School.

The purpose of holding the events was to provide citizens with relevant knowledge regarding necessary rules of conduct in connection with natural and man-made emergency incidents that may occur.

At the events, detailed information was provided on the classification of emergency situations, emergency situations characteristic of our country, including necessary rules of conduct related to fire and earthquake; the purpose of the MES “112” hotline was explained; and the rules for using primary fire extinguishing means were visually demonstrated.
During the events held in an interactive format, questions were answered in detail.
