A cooperation meeting aimed at expanding scientific and academic cooperation was held between Baku Eurasian University (BAAU) and Turkey's Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University.
Aztəhsil.az reports that, the rector of BAAU, Associate Professor Sayavush Gasimov, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Sevda Rzayeva, and authorized representatives of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Kader Altın and Dr. Elif Kömürcü, participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place between the parties on cooperation prospects in higher education, the expansion of scientific research activities, and the development of inter-university academic relations.
A memorandum was signed with the aim of establishing continuous cooperation between the two universities. The document was signed by the rector of BAAU, Associate Professor Sayavush Gasimov, and the authorized representative of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Kader Altın.
The main objective of the memorandum is to create new opportunities in scientific research activities, promote student and faculty exchange, and strengthen scientific and academic integration between the universities.
According to the document, it is envisaged to organize the mutual exchange of faculty members and researchers, develop student exchange programs, prepare joint scientific research projects, and organize conferences, seminars, symposiums, and other international academic events. The said document also notes the assurance of the parties' joint participation in international scientific projects, the conduct of scientific research, and the strengthening of academic knowledge exchange.
It should be noted that the memorandum will make a significant contribution to strengthening academic relations, expanding scientific research activities, and developing international academic cooperation between the two higher education institutions.
