The Institute of Education has presented the assessment framework for the recruitment competition for the position of educator-teacher in preschool educational institutions.
Aztəhsil.az reports that, according to the presented framework, in the test examination stage of the competition, candidates will have to answer a total of 60 questions, comprising 40 questions on content and methodology, and 20 questions on pedagogical and psychological approaches.
The topics for the content areas are as follows:
1. Content and Methodology
– Development areas and standards of preschool education
– Planning, organization, and management of teaching and activities,
– evaluation, forecasting, etc.
Organization of an inclusive educational environment:
• Supporting and encouraging creative learning in all children
• Working with children from diverse cultures and gender equality
Methodology:
• Development of sensory skills
• Physical education (gross and fine motor skills)
• Visual arts activities
• Introduction to the surrounding world
• Speech development
• Development of artistic thinking
• Development of logical and mathematical thinking
• Development of literacy instruction
• Formation of self-care and work habits in children
• Games and their application features in teaching
• Preparation of children for school education
– Ways to support creative thinking in children
– Transitions between activities and organization of leisure time
– Organization of events and excursions
– Activity centers (corners) and their integration into teaching
– Hygiene rules and first aid
2. Pedagogical and Psychological Approaches
– Rights and responsibilities of educators

It should be noted that the competition for the recruitment of educator-teachers to preschool educational institutions consists of 3 stages: acceptance of electronic applications, test examination, and interview. Individuals who have graduated from secondary vocational and higher education institutions in preschool education, obtained a state-recognized diploma, and whose higher education document obtained abroad is recognized, can participate in the competition.
