At Baku Engineering University (BEU), an educational training was held within the framework of Azerbaijan International Bank's (ABB) “Qoşa saat” project.

Aztəhsil.az reports that the main purpose of the event organized for the students of BEU's Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies was to increase the knowledge of students in the field of finance and banking, and to answer their questions arising in this field through professional trainers.

At the event, ABB's Data Science Specialist Asmar Hajizade delivered a presentation on the topic “Generative Artificial Intelligence in Practice: Fundamentals and Modern Tools”.

In her speech, she spoke about the essence of the concept of artificial intelligence, and its capabilities to model human thought and decision-making processes.

She stated that artificial intelligence technologies have been applied for many years in areas such as classification, prediction, and data analysis, and are now widely used in many areas of daily life, such as spam filters, recommendation systems, and image recognition.

The specialist also touched upon the modern capabilities of generative artificial intelligence, emphasizing that this technology opens up new possibilities in the creation of text, code, visual, and video content.

She also provided information about widely used generative artificial intelligence tools in 2026 - OpenAI GPT-5, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Meta LLaMA language models, GitHub Copilot and Amazon CodeWhisperer code writing tools, as well as creative content platforms such as Midjourney, DALL-E 3, and Runway.

During the Q&A session held within the framework of the event, issues of interest to students were clarified, and the CVs of final-year students for relevant vacancies were evaluated,  and recommendations were given to them regarding possible career opportunities.
