Azerbaijani chess player became the international winner of the tournament

Azerbaijani chess player Ulviyya Fataliyeva won the international tournament "IV Women's Chess Championship" held in Bukhara, Uzbekistan.

Aztəhsil.az reports that our chess player, who collected 6.5 points from 9 rounds, finished the competition at the top.

It should be noted that this is Ulviyya's second major success in 2026. Last month, she won the title of Azerbaijani champion for the first time. 

It should be recalled that Ulviyya Fataliyeva was born on August 3, 1996, in Ganja and is a graduate of the Ganja Chess School.
