A new sports competition television project for students has started

Within the framework of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Science and Education, the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Idman TV, a sports competition television project titled “Böyük tənəffüs” has been launched among schoolchildren.

Aztəhsil.az reports that the aim of the project is to increase the physical activity of students in general education institutions, strengthen their interest in sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, and support the psychological development of students.

The project has been prepared taking into account the curriculum requirements of the physical education subject, learning outcomes, and the age characteristics of students.

In the current academic year, the competitions are held among 27 general education schools that have joined the Olympic Culture and Education Program (OCEP). The competitions are organized in a relay format based on the TOPs pedagogical methodology.
