Fines will be imposed for not reporting signs of violence detected in children.

Aztəhsil.az reports, citing APA, that this is reflected in the new Articles 189-4 and 189-5 proposed to the Code of Administrative Offenses, which were discussed at today's meeting of the Milli Məclis.

Thus, according to the proposed Article 189-4, for not providing information about the detection of signs of violent actions in a child to the relevant law enforcement agencies or the local commission for the protection of children's rights by parents (persons replacing them), as well as employees of educational, medical, social service, sports, cultural, recreational institutions, and penitentiary institutions responsible for supervising children, individuals will be fined from two hundred to three hundred manats, and officials will be fined from four hundred to six hundred manats.

According to the proposed Article 189-5, for not preventing continuous pressure and aggressive behavior of children, including children towards each other, in educational, medical, social service, sports, cultural, recreational institutions, and penitentiary institutions, individuals will be fined from three hundred to four hundred manats, and officials will be fined from five hundred to six hundred manats.

After discussions, the bill was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
