Info session on the IV “Maarifçi” student-graduate internship program at BMU

An info session was organized at Baku Engineering University (BMU) regarding the IV “Maarifçi” student-graduate internship program, implemented on the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Education and with the support of the Education Development Fund.  

Aztəhsil.az reports that at the event, organized by the university's Relations with Institutions and Career Center, Səma Əliyeva, an employee of the Ministry's Public Relations and Communication Department, and Günel Məmmədova, an employee of the Preschool General Education Department, made speeches and provided extensive information about the program. It was stated that the program, which allows for the strengthening of theoretical knowledge gained at the university with practical skills, is being held this year under the slogan “Digital Future” and covers a period of 4 months.

  • It was noted that final-year bachelor's and master's students, as well as graduates who completed their education within the last 3 years, can participate in the program. Selected participants will have the opportunity to intern in various structural divisions and subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Science and Education, regional education departments, as well as the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. It was noted that internship opportunities within the program are not limited to humanitarian fields, and internships are also possible in finance, economics, information technologies, construction, and supply sectors.  
  • During the info session, students were also informed about the registration procedures. It was emphasized that applications for the program started on March 11 and will continue until the 30th of the month. Test and interview stages will be held afterward. Participants' knowledge and skills, as well as their worldview, will be evaluated in these stages.  
  • Statistics from the I, II, and III programs were also presented at the event. It was highlighted that a total of 102 people graduated from the programs, and 50 of them were employed in various structural divisions in the field of education.
