On March 16, a meeting was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industrial University (ADNSU) with the President of the University of Strasbourg, France, Frédérique Berrod.

Aztəhsil.az reports that an extensive exchange of views was held on the implementation of the dual diploma program of the Azerbaijan-French University (UFAZ) operating under ADNSU, with the participation of the Rector of ADNSU, Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, as well as the university's vice-rectors and heads of structural divisions.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that UFAZ is a unique model in the field of transnational education. At the same time, information was provided about the successes achieved by UFAZ graduates, their career development, as well as their current involvement in pedagogical and scientific research activities at both ADNSU and UFAZ.

  • In his speech, the Rector of ADNSU, Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, gave a detailed presentation on the main activities of the university. It was noted that UFAZ, established 10 years ago, has successfully expanded its activities and is preparing highly qualified specialists at the bachelor's and master's levels.
  • The President of the University of Strasbourg, Frédérique Berrod, stated that the higher education institution she leads has extensive cooperation with a number of universities. She emphasized that UFAZ is one of the most successful projects within the framework of international cooperation and noted that special importance will be given to the implementation of joint scientific research projects between the two countries in the future.

The guest, visiting ADNSU for the first time, familiarized herself with the university's History and Mineralogy museums, as well as the educational buildings of ADNSU and UFAZ after the meeting.
 

She highly appreciated the educational and scientific research environment, the conditions created in the laboratories, and the scientific research work being carried out.
