The final stage of the Republican Subject Olympiad was organized at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASUOI) on April 18–19.
Aztəhsil.az reports that the final round was held in six subjects: Azerbaijani language and literature, mathematics, physics, biology, geography, and history. 672 students participated in the Olympiad in the upper age group (grades 10–11), and 901 students in the lower age group (grades 8–9). Thus, a total of 1573 students tested their knowledge in the final stage across six subjects.
On the first day of the final stage, competitions were organized in 5 subjects. Participants in biology and physics had the opportunity to demonstrate not only their theoretical knowledge but also their practical skills.
On April 19, the stages for mathematics and physics continued. The mathematics competition was held over two days in accordance with the international Olympiad format. In physics, students demonstrated their level of preparation by participating in theoretical and practical rounds.
Thus, the two-day final stage successfully concluded at ASUOI.
After the initial evaluation is completed, participants can familiarize themselves with the results and then participate in the coordination process.
It should be noted that the final stage of the Republican Subject Olympiad, with such a large scale and numerous participants, was held for the first time in the country specifically at ASUOI.
